there is a new contest organized by CHML Romania, but it is dedicated
to romanian users only as payments are hard to be done for other
countries users....

the search phrase is: chml srucnoc, chml from the brand and srucnoc is
the reverse form of concurs which means contest in romanian language

it has started on 20th of August 2006 and will end up on 20th of
December 2006

i submitted my site to this contest and i'd like to hear some tips from

this is how i promote is: dir and article submisions, one way link
exchange and links added on all my other websites - any other usefull
"tool" ?

You have already selected wrong domain name - chml-srucnoc will be

Please abstain from spamming. Many innocent bystanders loathe hearing about
these competitions because they create temptation for blackhat techniques to
be used,e,g, Googlebmpbing that messes up the Web and useless, organic
anchor text. Why not understake a sporting event? Or even a programming
context that takes place 'in a box' rather than mess about 'out in the
wild'...

i'm not sure you are right.. check the serps for: chml srucnoc , the
chmlsrucnoc from my domain name is bold, and the bold text means that
it contains the keywords, isn't that true?

Now when you say this, do you mean a site coming along NOW with
hyphens in it will trigger over-optimisation penalties? Or do you mean
that sites that were comfy in the serps before 2006 but were always
full of hyphens are vanishing from the serps NOW because of a
recently-introduced over-optimisation filter? Have you been reading
Colin Campbell, the VEO man?

Why you decide that it must rank for them? Google search is about
text,links and other content.., no alfabet.
You need to check 'serious revenue'

Results 1 - 10 of about 29,700,000 for serious revenue.

http://www.seriousrevenue.com/ is number 3 and 4 in search results.
Note that site is in russian and absolutly not optimised for this
phrase.

I don't speak about old sites or other issues exept one in first post.
I mean 'seo contests'. This mean that Laur need to use a lot of
optimisation techniques in small amount of time. If so, Laur have more
chances to get over optimisation penalty with new domain which contain
'-'. Thats it.
