I need . I am running a suse linux workstation and
installed apache 2.2.

For some reason I cannot modify the listen.conf manually
or through YaST.

The server works but I can only access webpages via IP

I have checked permissions and opened all files
path /etc/apache2/listen.conf

I am stuck.

Since there is nothing in Apache preventing you to _edit_ files the
problem can only be in some specific things of your own distribution,
I suggest you ask on a forum or newsgrup dedicated to your
distribution.
