Hi All,
Is it possible to have multiple instances of Apache 2.0.XX on the same box (Unix)? They'd answer on different ports though. |

Yes, this question has been asked a number of times in the past, a quick search with google should have found it. Anyway, the point is to start apache pointing it to a different configuration file. In some circumstances is the only way, I had problems with a couple of third-party modules that wouldn't play nice together, so the only way to have it working was to run two instances of apache, one with one module and the other with the other module and having one to talk to the other only through http. It was ugly like a sin but it was working. Davide -- We are either doing something, or we are not. 'Talking about' is a subset of 'not'. -- from alt.sysadmin.recovery |
