I should be noted that there are some news servers (read: NNTP's run by small ISPs and such that may not necessarly know what they are doing) that do not carry the .test groups for what ever reason. Some blatently filter them out. The case I ran into a year or so ago, their admin's actually used the excuse that the removed them due to "excessive bandwith usage"... So one should not always be so quick to make the assumption that the ycould of used a designated test group. |
