Invoking C executables through apache

Hi,
I have a C executable compiled using gcc/Cygwin/WindowsXP. I want to
run it through apache
like a CGI script. When I try it, the browser is asking me to save the
file. Do I need to configure
anything in apache to execute C programs?. Your is greatly
appreciated.

Put it in the cgi-bin directory and be sure it's executable.
