How do I password protect a folder (Tomcat running on windows)

Hi!
I am trying to figure out how to password protect a folder on my Tomcat
server?

I have found dozens of examples of how to do this using Apache (using
the .htaccess file), but it seems as if this is not supported with
Tomcat.

Does anybody know how to do this?
