NAT/subnet questions
Questions about NAT and subnets.
Say my address is 10.11.0.62
my subnet mask is 255.255.254.0
So, the fact that my address starts in a 10, makes me think I'm using
NAT. My question is, if I am using NAT, is my network address
calculated the same as usual with the subnet mask?
Meaning, my network address is now 10.11.0.0?
I was just wondering if using NAT changes the way subnets are done,
since that is really only an internal address. thanks.
