For faster website loading, try getting a DSL or broadband connection, if
you don't already have one. It will certainly you get faster access to
those sites.

There are features which are much more common on the internet today than
they used to be (for example, audio, video, etc.) that may be difficult to
access with a slow internet connection. Perhaps this is what your friend was
thinking of ~
