Assuming that updates are not working:
1. Any event log errors on the workstations or domain controller?
2 .Is the AD DNS domain a single label name?
3. Zone name match the AD DNS domain name?
4. Updates allowed on the zone?

Keep in mind, whenever one of us in the groups ask questions or ask for
configuration information from an installation, it s to view the actual
config and eliminate the obvious.
