Add a new host with the name the printer is accessed by, with the printer's
IP.
I don't know of any printers that can register their own records in DNS, if
they could, if the zone allows only secure updates, the printer would have
to present domain credentials to the DNS server before it could update DNS.
If a printer is using DHCP and you have a Win2k3 DHCP server, the DHCP
server could make the secure registration for the printer.
