I use AdSense on a LOT of sites and other than Google filtering
affiliate content from it's organic search results (so affiliate
content gets less visitors, so less click on ads) I see no problem
with AdSense or Google search per se.

First I've heard of it and not seeing this on any of my sites. So
where are you getting this information from bill?

But what's that got to do with AdSense?
To the OP if you are using WordPress checkout the sig, converting some
WordPress themes to have AdSense ads (edit one file to add your
AdSense client number and you have a blog with ads).
