This is the default on many Linux distro regarding sendmail
setup, just receive from localhost:

DAEMON_OPTIONS(`Port=smtp,Addr=127.0.0.1, Name=MTA')dnl

(sendmail.mc), generate a new .cf with of m4 and restart
sendmail.
