Cyrus quotas
When I set up Cyrus IMAP I established a default quota in the config
file, of 20 megabytes (autocreatequota). Yet all accounts were created
without a particular quota and it's my understanding that they should
all have a quota of 20 meg, because of the default setup.
cyradm does not reply to queries about quotas on a particular account.
lq or lqm just gives me another command prompt.
If I run quota -f on my system will this just automatically be fixed?
Or am I asking to hose things completely if I do this?
Or am I completely misunderstanding what autocreatequota actually does?
What I really want to end up with is a default quota of 2 meg and then
allow certain "privileged" users to go up to 20. Would the best path to
this be:
1) Change autocreatequota to 2 meg and restart cyrus
2) Set 20 meg quotas on priviledged users via cyradm
3) Run quota -f
Am I on the right track here? Or will I need to script quotas for
everyone because quota -f isn't smart enough to autocreate quotas for
accounts that already exist?
Thanks in advance,
