I agree that this isn't particularly interesting and I'm just
trying to understand how IMAP keywords should be named so I can
use them *and write about them* correctly. It is now clear to me
that what I am currently using, which is here:
<http://www.ii.com/internet/messaging/pine/sharing/#keywords>
is not correct. It's not correct because all the keyword names
that I use start with '$', for example, I use a keyword named
$URL
which I use to mean "this message contains a useful URL." Since
this is a Nancy-invented keyword and not a Common IMAP Keyword,
its name should not begin with a '$', i.e., it could be this:
URL
When the next version of the Common IMAP Keywords document comes
out, hopefully it will discuss the meaning of keywords that start
with '$' or '\' vs keywords that do not start with either of
these characters.
