A domain is defined by the presence of at least 1 Windows
domain controller called the a primary domain controller (PDC)
in NT 4.0. You install Windows NT 4.0 Server amd choose PDC
during the installation process. You'll need to decide whether or not
you want to have the NT 4.0 server hand other machines a tcp/ip
addresses as well as the subnet. A basic understanding of tcp/ip is
needed.
