i have a dell poweredge 2950 server with two SATA drives- one 80GB, one
500GB. i'm running windows server 2003 x64 and sql server 2005 x64. my
database is around 75GB (this is the size of the .mdf file). for this type
of scenario, is it possible to set up a RAID 0 configuration, and is this
advisable? i thought RAID 0 was the best option for my scenario since i'm
more concerned with high processing power, as opposed to data
security/redundancy for this machine. can someone point me in the right
direction as to where i can find more information setting this up? i know
this is a broad topic, but want to know if i'm at least on the right track.

i'm assuming i should use the dell openmanage server administrator to
configure this- but is this something that needs to be done at the time the
OS is installed, or can i configure RAID after the fact?
