It's not clear but from this post it sounds like you were
actually trying to use the Previously Registered Servers
feature. Or the import servers....not sure which.
You can get this error if it finds no registration file or
registration information.
Which steps were you actually using? The error you received
isn't from a typical server registration but from using one
of the other registration features.
