Not that hard. It requires almost the same effort as registering new
domain. However, please make sure that
1) Your domain is not locked.
- You can check for this at
http://www.internic.net/whois.html
make sure that the STATUS is ACTIVE (not locked)
2) Your administrative and registrar e-mail addresses are up-to-date
After initiating the transfer, make sure you check your e-mail
account because there will be a couple notification/confirmation e-mails
sent to your e-mail address. Just follow the instructions in the
e-mails. The whole transfer usually takes 1~2 weeks.
