I ran the memory test...no problems there. I'm using one 2G stick.
I found the Verifier.exe file on another computer. But since it's an exe, I
can't boot to it and there's no OS to launch it, so I'm not sure how to make
use of it.
I just tried unplugging the SATA drive and connecting an old IDE drive. But
the BIOS won't see the IDE drive at all. Could I have a bad motherboard here?
