How about just replug the device? Or make sure to plug the device
*BEFORE* open Photoshop. Or try this

1. Cover your eyes

2. Open the book

3. See if you can read what the book says.

Now try the other method

1. Open the book

2. Read what the book says (not the whole book of course)

3. Now cover your eyes and see if you know what the book says.

Same with Photoshop, it isn't an OS to know what may happen to the system,
but it can only be able to read the information it's designed to read, and
it reads at beginning.
