Try this. I called tech Support and it worked for me. GOOD LUCK.

Start menu - Run

Enter ?resedit? and hit ENTER

Locate HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Adobe/ (I put this in a slash format but
what you?ll be seeing are drop downs.

Locate and Rename the Fireworks folder to ?Fireworks_old?.

Then in the Adobe folder locate Common/9/Sites and rename it to ?Sites_old?

Once this is done try starting Fireworks, it should start up again.
