Not true at all. You need to check your html to see if the errors
detected are important ones. Sure, some errors are not critical to
issues like this, like lack of valid alt attributes, but some errors
must be fixed for the page to be parsed properly by a browser, or by a
spider.

With invalid html, it would be hard to suggest the problem lies with
them rather than with your page. I personally have no idea how google
handles a disparity between sitemap.xml and the actual links on the site.

Ill have a look at the code then. the weird thing however is that google has
indexed most of my pages properly which can be checked when typing site:mysite.
