The Hyper-V role that ships with (some) versions of Windows Server 2008 is a
beta version. The RC0 version that is available for download is an update to
that beta version. You still need to enable the Role in Windows Server
2008.

Beyond hardware DEP and x64, you also must have a processor (and a BIOS)
that supports hardware virtualization. This means "VT" for Intel, or "AMD-V"
for AMD processors.
