I have VS2005 R2 SP1 running with no problems on a XP SP2 box and needed to
have it run on another XP SP2 box to test out performance. To my chagrin,
after installing it on the new machine I get the

"Could not connect to Virtual Server. Access was denied."

"You do not have permission to access the event viewer."
--- For the add (this computer) in Recent Events

in the Admin web management page.

Things tried:

1) Adjusted the COM settings to be wide open, no denials for all in
dcomcnfg.exe.
2) Accessing Account is in Administrators.
3) Tried accessing it in Firefox same message.
4) Researched in this newsgroup, and web, for "Access was denied" to no avail.
5) Turned off Norton Firewall/other security gotchas.

As mentioned I have this running on another computer....hence my confusion.
Here are the facts

1) Virtual Server 2005 R2 SP1
2) Win XP SP2
3) IIS 5

Please advise
