More likely that when Majordomo uninstalled, it screwed up your MTA's
configuration files, or left something behind in them. :-(
At a guess, somewhere in one of those config files there's a setting
instructing the MTA to pipe all local mail through some part of Majordomo.
That part no longer exists, so local mail fails.
You may need to find out which MTA you're using (e.g. Postfix, Qmail,
Exim, Sendmail) and check with their support mailing lists how to fix the
problem.
