I've recently installed this GUI tool for MySQL; however, when I run it, it
needs information to connect to the server which is local (on my laptop
running Windows Vista Home Premium where the MySQL client is located also).
It asks for 'stored connection,' 'server host,' 'Username,' 'Password,' and
'Default Schema.' Nothing I try for these boxes works. I do not use a
password and I do not get prompted to provide a username when opening the
client directly. If anyone could provide some advice on how to connect when
the server is local I would appreciate it greatly. Thanks.
